How it works

  1. Complete our bio form so that we can learn all about your pet. From this info a professional bio will be written for your pet by one of our pet experts. The bio will be sent for you to review and approve before being posted on our website, social media and Pet Finder pages.

  2. After your pet is posted, interested parties will complete our adoption application. All applicants will be screened by us and any matching candidates will be forwarded to you to contact.

  3. Start with a phone interview with the potential adopter to see if it may be the right fit. Then schedule an in person or virtual meeting to continue the process. Our Rehome team will guide you through the process of setting safe and pressure-free meetings with applicants and provide a helpful meet and greet FAQ to help guide the process.

  4. Once the right fit has been found and all parties are ready to move forward, finalize the adoption by completing an adoption contract to protect the transfer of pet ownership.

What you get

  1. We will take the information you provide us and handcraft a unique bio for your pet that will attract potential adopters.

  2. Your pet will be posted on our website, social media platforms and Pet Finder.

  3. We will screen potential applicants for you and provide support and guidance during the meet and greet process. You get to decide which potential adopter is the best fit for your pet.

  4. We will take care of the contract and transfer of ownership of your pet.

What we require

The animal must remain in your home during the rehome process. You must provide records from a veterinarian showing your pet is up to date on Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines.

If your pet has not been spayed or neutered (“fixed”) their acceptance into the program will be on a case by case basis. Please contact us here.
